Itinerary

Day 1
### Arrival in Havana
 Upon arrival in Havana, you will already be expected and transferred to your hotel. Overnight stay in a traditional or colonial hotel in the old town.
Day 2
### Habana Colonial and the flair of the 50s
 The morning begins with a walk through colonial Old Havana with the most important sights: Capitolio, Calle Obispo, Palace of the Captains General, Hemingway's "Bodeguita and his working room in the Hotel Ambos Mundos, Cathedral Square, Castillo de la Fuerza Real, El Templete, among others. Lunch with live music in the patio or on the terrace of the restaurant "La Mina" at the Plaza de Armas. In the afternoon, tour by bus through the Havana of the 50's with Revolution Square, Malecon, the legendary Hotel Nacional and through the Miramar mansion district with its magnificent mansions along Quinta Avenida. In the evening possibility (optional) to visit the legendary Tropicana Show. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3
### Havana - Pinar de Río - Viñales - Soroa
 Early morning on the "tobacco route" to Pinar del Rio. Visit to a cigar or liqueur factory. Afterwards panoramic tour through the Mogote Valley with its famous limestone cliffs and the picturesque village of Viñales, where time seems to have stopped. Visit to a "Casa del Veguero" (house of a tobacco farmer) and visit to the "Prehistoric Wall" - a huge rock painting. Boat ride on an underground river through the Indio Cave and continue to the Sierra del Rosario. Overnight stay at the hotel, surrounded by beautiful nature.

Day 4
### Soroa - Guamá - Bay of Pigs - Cienfuegos
 Drive in the direction of central Cuba. On the way stop in Guamá on the Zapata Peninsula. Boat ride through the mangroves to the "Taino Village" on the Laguna del Tesoro. Detour to the historic "Bay of Pigs" and on to Cienfuegos, which is characterized by French colonial architecture. Walk across the Plaza Mayor with the Teatro Terry, where Caruso once sang, and to the Punta Gorda peninsula with the "Moorish" Palacio del Valle and its typical wooden villas. Overnight stay at the hotel.

### Cienfuegos - Sugar Cane Mill Valley - Trinidad
 In the morning along the panoramic coastal road to Trinidad - UNESCO World Heritage Site with unique colonial architecture. City tour with the Plaza Mayor, surrounded by magnificent mansions. Visit to the rustic Canchancharra (honey-liquor bar) and the Romantic Museum. In the afternoon to the valley of the sugar cane mills. Visit to the Hacienda of the sugar barons Iznaga with the "slave tower". In the evening, opportunity (optional) for a foray into the romantic-musical nightlife with live music and dancing very close to the people, e.g. in the Casa de la Musica or Casa de la Trova. Overnight stay in hotel in panoramic position above the city or surrounded by nature.

Day 6
### Trinidad - Sierra Escambray - Santa Clara - Remedios (Cayo Santa Maria)
 Through the foothills of the Escambray Mountains or over the Topes de Collantes to the center of the island to historic Santa Clara, where Che Guevara won his greatest victory and found his final resting place. Visit of the Che Guevara monument. Then continue to the colonial town of Remedios and walk through the idyllic Plaza Mayor with the church of San Juan Bautista (mahogany altar from the 16th century). Overnight stay with dinner at the hotel.

Day 7
### Remedios (Cayo Santa Maria) - Varadero - Havana - Return flight
 Around noon we continue via Varadero (for extenders) to the airport in Havana. Return flight in the evening from Havana.

### Visa requirements for this trip
VISA DETAILS CUBA:
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon entry. Entry to Cuba for tourist purposes with a length of stay of up to 30 days is only possible with a visa in the form of a so-called "tourist card", which is used for entry together with the passport. Tourist cards must be purchased prior to entry and are available from the Cuban Embassy in Germany and from some airlines at the airport.
Entry requirements for German citizens may change at short notice! Legally binding information on entry requirements can only be obtained directly from the embassy or one of the consulates general of your destination country.
